Richard Foye is a contestant on the popular reality show, Survivor. He is known as the “Survivor whisperer” for his ability to understand and work with people from all walks of life. Born in New York City and raised by an English father and an Irish mother, he attended Yale University and went on to become a professor of political science at The University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2003 where he taught courses on government, politics, law and international relations. In 2015 he was offered a position as Director of the Public Policy Program at Pomona College. He has also written a book about negotiating with African’s worst terrorists. Recently, Stephen asked Richard on the show if he was trans, to which Richard replied that he is not but has a lot of experience with those who are. Despite rumors of surgery to change his gender, there are no facts to support it. Richard is not trans, but he is married to a trans man.
